Living a Deliberate Life (not at the affect of life)

Isn’t it time to be deliberate? There is no more time for sitting
back; now is a moment of action. Not just doing for the sake of doing but
opening to the divine and listening, which is an aspect of doing/action.
Observe your surroundings and notice what feels “right” and what feels off,
then act on that. Acting/doing in this instance might simply be noticing
what the “off” part is, and how it is being attracted to you… What is it, where
and how does it manifest in your life. Then focus on attracting the tools and
skills that allow you to release it. The fact that you are reading this now is
an indicator that you are likely ready to release something. Here are a few
methods and tools for release:

  • Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). Check out Gary Craig’s information packed web site. This link directs you to the page where there is a free 85 page download to learn how to do this for yourself. It is a great start, but find yourself an EFT therapist. I have two, Mary Hall who is local and Brad Yates who has a great Sunday morning group gathering (well worth it). His products include Money Beyond Belief: and click on the link for his Tappings and his eBook. Mary Hall is my local therapist and an absolutely amazing healer, she also does tele-healing EFT sessions and can guide you through nutritional healing, you can reach her at mary@maryahall.com.
  • Ho’oponopono. Joe Vitale has an amazing new book that walks you through the basics of Ho’oponopono. This is seriously the real deal healing method. I do it daily… any downtime or moments of confusion are filled with Ho’oponopono.
  • Sedona Method. Hale Dwoskin invented this awesome model to help you to understand whether the feelings you are having are real or not. Is it real, is it true… most of the time when you finish this inner dialogue you have released whatever “it” was.
  • 3-D Workout Dianne Woodruff offers a remarkable "Therapeutic Fitness" system that helps to
eliminate pain, markedly reduce chance of injury (AND dissolve troublesome fat pockets.) 3-D Workout was designed to restore the body’s basic organizational patterns while building strength and coordination. Whether you are recovering from injury or want to virtually eliminate chance of injury, this will do the trick! These are two videos that will change your life.

So there is a short
list of things you can do, review them let these choices sit with you, open
yourself to the energetic essences, and use your inspiration to make a choice.
That process is yet another exercise for you. Right now take a look at your “to
do” list. Now take deep breath relax into the moment, find your center. From
this place of calm take another look at the list, without thinking about it,
what is calling to you? Maybe there is something that is not on your list (like
something you really love to do), add it to the list. Then do that which is
calling you the most, do what is creating a yearning inside of you. Writing
this blog right now is that for me. This is working from inspired action and it
will guide you unerringly to your goals. This is how to start living more
deliberately.

Are you in Ego or in Love?

I was doing an exploration of the ego… how do I know when I
am working from ego or when I am working from love. Here is what I got:

The Ego Is:

Love/God is:

Expectant

Trusts and knows

Needs

Allows

Seeks attention

Listens

Judges

Forgives (through being present and in the moment)

Fears

Appreciates

Blames

Guides and acknowledges

Pushes into the world

Receives and embraces the world

Isolates / frenetic

Is clear and smooth

Is disruptive

Is balanced

Disappointment

Acceptance peace and trust

Surviving

Thriving

Ok so now I am in ego, how do I find my way back to love?
Here is a quick exercise:

Ask yourself; is it true? Is what I am feeling and the
beliefs behind those feelings true? Then give yourself the opportunity to explore
the opposite of those feelings as listed on the chart. Then, using the Ho’oponopono model, thank
yourself for allowing this belief to seep into your consciousness, forgive
yourself for having the belief, and simply love yourself for the gift that your
are, and for being the you that is willing to work at this level of evolvement
and consciousness.

Acknowledging Your Own Darkness to Reveal the Light in Others

I was recently tagged by BonnieWabbit  from her blog Inspirational Awareness in
an effort to “reawaken the old lonely posts” which haven’t seemed to receive
quite as much attention as originally anticipated. I decided to use the post
that offered the exercise about releasing someone.
This exercise is a powerful
process and really works. It works because the energy of forgiveness is all
over this (without actually saying the word)

I received an important comment from Kay (found below) about this
post
and I was going to respond back in comments, but the tag was a great
excuse and Kay’s question was so important and relevant I wanted to bring it
back here.

An excerpt of the “revived” post:

Releasing a Person: An
Exercise

Picture
the person you want to let go of. Imagine them in an absolutely stunning
crystal rock the size of a large mansion. This mansion/crystal is exactly the
right crystal for the person you are releasing. Inside the crystal is everything
this person would every want or dream of. Their hearts desires are contained in
this crystal rock. Picture them going into the rock and getting to experience
everything they ever wanted. Then step back, turn the rock so you can no longer
see the person or the entrance to the rock/mansion. Take a look at all the
energetic lines that are hooking you into this person. There are huge rope-like
things, small wispy tethers, sticky messy sinews, rubber band-like strings. All
of these are hooked up to your from this person and from you to this person.

READ THE
REST

Here is Kay’s
comment:

“I like the idea of releasing a
person and severing ties but I have a problem with the beauty of the crystal.
The person involved has done some very depraved things to children and the
knowledge eats at my soul. I need to release the hate and his influence but
don’t know how to get past the desire to allow him nothing he may enjoy or
desire. I can’t prove what I know so can’t anticipate any legal joy either.
What may work in that situation?”

I was in a situation like Kay’s and what I know now is that
if we allow the best for others, from our intention of experiencing love to
sending positive energy (no matter what they have done), we are actually
healing ourselves. The rage that is inside of Kay is hers and in my experience
often reflects the rage in the one we are judging. Until we as individuals can
release the feelings that are brought out by these types of people we will be
stuck in hate and blame and according to the law of attraction create more of
the same.

My response here is offering no blame or retribution onto
Kay, what she is feeling is the most common feeling most of use have in
response to evil, and usually helplessness and lack of control come into play
as well. But if we can look inside our soul, if we can see the same types of
feelings that an abuser might have; the rage, the lack of control, the need to
hurt someone, then there is a chance for healing. I don’t know about you but I
have felt all of those feeling at one point on another in my life. The
difference between me and the abuser is that I have not acted on them against
another. However if the supposition of “we are all one” is true then these negative
feeling are likely showing up in the world.

If we can review our own feelings and acknowledge them (big
first step is to acknowledge that we have these dark feeling) then thank the
person who triggered these feelings in us for showing up, and apologizing to
ourselves for having them, then through that process of acknowledging and
gratitude the opportunity is available to release it. Each release of this type,
when I view it from an energetic perspective, unravels another layer of hate
from humanity.

Dr Len who practices Ho’oponopono healed a whole ward of
criminally insane (read Dr Joe
Vitale’s Essay on this
, scroll down on this page for the essay). These
criminals likely did even darker things than Kay’s nemesis, yet Dr. Len took
ownership within himself of the horrible things these people did. He looked at
their files and then looked at himself, at the darkness he had within and,
thanked, loved, and released those feelings and in the process, all were
released of their darkness. This is the opportunity, and the releasing exercise
helps to start that process. (Kay I hope this answered your queston).

I now pass this tag on to some of my favorite blogs: Dr Joe Vitale, Steve Olsen, the Daily Positive Blog, The Naked Soul, Today is That Day, Crossroads Dispatches an Cultivate

How We Create Our Reality

I had a moment of clarity recently; I had just turned a
corner and a man riding a bike fell right there on the sidewalk as I witnessed
it. He didn’t fall horribly (he got up a little shaken and brushed himself off
and rode away) but it was sudden and shocking as those things are. I was
curious why I witnessed that. While I don’t think I “made” him fall, I do
understand now that we co-created the moment. I wanted to explore this further,
so pulled over the car.

I took a moment and looked inside and what that moment
triggered was a sense of violence. What I saw was the part of my unconscious
limbic brain that somehow appreciated violence. As I looked deeper, I witnessed
the larger scale violence in the world then saw that same energy of violence in
me. I felt, at a deep level, a oneness with this group agreement regarding
violence, and again saw it in myself and felt a sense that we are all one. I
believe that we are all connected, kind of like the Pando (Trembling
Giant) Quaking Aspen Grove in Utah, that is actually one huge tree that is part
a system of “treeness.”

In that moment I saw, that because I am part of everything I
have a hand in creating all of it (including violence). What comes into my radar
or within my purview is a personal creation. As I look within I can really see
the energy that I commit to creating everything in my life. I can see the
strings of attachment that project out from me making things, thoughts, and
beliefs real.

As I explored within myself how I felt about violence and
wars and crime, I saw the strings of my personal deep seeded unconscious
beliefs move into the world and attach to violent “things” and events. I then
saw thousands of other strings attached from other minds that in aggregate made
the picture whole (a hologram), life a Renoir painting all the individual dots
together form a picture.

In each day since that first exploration of violence, when I
have a moment of frustration or an angry outburst I immediately do my inner
work, and recognize the violence that is within me. I see how my emotions and
infrastructure of beliefs can show up in the world and result in, that ass
cutting me off, or that person at the grocery story being unpleasant, or even
the war. As I acknowledge and recognize these strings of belief manifesting and
creating my reality, and shift those feelings, changing my mind, I witness my
belief string disengaging. When I
observed this internal vision of my personal belief string releasing, I also
noticed others were disrupted into disengagement (like a pyramid of apples, if
you remove one from the middle, the rest either settle into a new configuration
or fall).

If, my postulation of “we are all one” is true, then if my
string of belief disengages then it causes a ripple effect on the whole. My
release of my feelings and beliefs around violence allows an easing of the
tension of the whole. That is the 100th
monkey theory
and Car Jung’s collective
unconsciousness
theory in action. Our own internal work resolving our part
in the resonant global beliefs and extreme emotional energies can change the
whole. Each of us plays a part and the more we take personal responsibility for
our internal beliefs and feelings and change those, the greater the opportunity
for achieving critical mass and sudden shifts for peace (the cautionary tale is
that same critical mass is also applicable to war).

Joe Vitale’s New Book About Releasing And Opening to Your Dreams (And I’m In It!)

I have exciting news. Joe Vitale featured teacher in The
Secret
and recognized visionary (especially with his new book called Zero
Limits
) invited me to contribute a chapter to his new book, coming out in
the fall, called The
Key
.
Here is the book
description:Cover_2

The
Key
will reveal the missing secret for attracting wealth, health, success,
happiness or anything else. It builds on the work in Joe Vitale’s bestselling
book, The Attractor Factor, and goes beyond the hit movie The Secret,
which costars Vitale.

The
premise of The Key is unless a person “gets clear” of the limiting
beliefs inside themselves, they will continue to push away the very things they
say they want. Vitale says there are counter-intentions within a person that
attract what they don’t want rather than what they do want. In The Key
he will reveal ten proven ways to remedy the situation and end self-sabotage
forever.

Joe is offering proven ways to clear and release the old
beliefs, and caked on energy debris to open you up to the flow of your dreams.
My chapter offers two exercises to clear your body of these old thoughts and
traumas.

Imagine being cleared of this old “crap,” as I have mentioned
before in this blog, when we make big decisions and go for big dreams anything that
is not in alignment with these new energies will show up for release. The
techniques in my chapter and the other content in Joe’s book offer ways to
clear this. This is a key piece to opening to the flow of abundance. There is
no get rich quick model using The Secret, it is an internal process that takes
work and dedication. It takes listening to your inner guidance and nudges of
intuition and acting on those. At each step there are opportunities to release
anything (feelings, mind chatter, old habits) that are still in the way. Look
for those energy blocks, don’t judge them, but feel them. Acknowledge them;
thank them for showing up and in love release.

I am thrilled and honored to be a part of Joe’s book. If you
are interested in my work check out a description of one such exercise on my
web site
. I also walk clients through a deeper process with hands on
healing techniques through in person and on–the-phone sessions.

My book, The Big Book
of You
will be coming out at around the same time. It is also available
for pre-order
.

Look, Love, Appreciate, Release – Healing Through the Law of Attraction

I have been lecturing on the topic of “healing through the
law of attraction” for a couple of months now. A key experience I have
witnessed over and over is recognizing that everything in our purview is a
reflection of where we are in our lives at the moment. The good things
represent the areas of health and wellbeing that we believe and are
externalizing. The challenging situations/people are a reflection of
unconscious beliefs that are ready to be investigated, reviewed, acknowledged
and released.

Take a look at your life right now and review the
challenging personalities that are in your face in an unpleasant way. Where in
your life have you exhibited a similar type of personality to others? Can you
see that time or incident when you have treated someone the way this mean, spiteful,
manipulated, violent (you name it) person has been treating you. Even if it is
not an exact match can you think of thoughts you have had that are similar.
Then this person is reflecting back to you something that is inside of you.

Thank yourself for creating this opportunity to view it,
apologies to yourself for have the challenging experiences in your life that
created your own version of this person as you acted out in past situations. Love yourself anyway. Love yourself for being able
to thank yourself and apologies (empathetically). Love yourself for being
willing to explore and let go of this aspect of yourself.

Now bless the teacher (you know the mean guy or gal) for
helping you to open up this truth for you and send them the same love and
compassion you just had for yourself.

Congratulations you just passed the first of many marvelous learning
opportunities on your path to a joyful life.
