Just Living with Sadhguru

Tonight’s call with Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev on Healing With The Masters was filled with a lot of laughter and wonderful insights on how we can be truer to ourselves and live happier, more fulfilling lives.

When it comes to controlling our lives, how much of it do we really have? And is it really the control we want? The real question isn’t about control, but more about how much access we are seeking to our True Self. When we’re not being our True Self, we’re limiting ourselves and all that is possible for us. And Destiny is just a dimension of life that we created unconsciously while fully accessing our True Self places us in the driver’s seat of our life where we begin to consciously create experiences from our true desires.

There is an Intelligence and Competence that functions from within us, and this is what defines our True Self. The realization that we are the creators of our own experiences will open us to higher awareness and access to our Infinite Self.

Humanity seems to be at war with its negative thoughts, and it is these thoughts that keep us in limitation. We can all be Buddha because this name isn’t about a person, but more about the principle of being awake. It’s when we’re awake that we will come to understand that every part of our being is always communicating with the universe. We are always connected.

Sadhguru shared that we can distinctly experience this connection of not being the body or the mind which will end suffering. It’s our thoughts that come from the data we gathered outside ourselves that make us believe we’re suffering. Even though, we’ve gathered a lot of data, and we can make things ours like phones and televisions, these things will never become us. It’s the external data that cause confusion and distortions within our perceptions of the world because our minds only operate on what we identify to be true.

Many of us become chaotic when life speeds up, and we also become bored when it slows down. The reason is we’re living unconsciously; always trying to rearrange our lives to suit us. Always trying to make other people into the versions we choose for them in a failed attempt to have them reflect the very behavior we want from ourselves.

Since birth, there have been many people in our lives trying to educate us with the things that didn’t work for them, and these lessons become deeply embedded in our thoughts and beliefs.

Sadhguru told us a funny joke about a bull and a lion that truly captured how many of us are going about life where we spend more time filling ourselves up with bull… only to be left feeling dissatisfied.

If we were to just look at life, we would see the hand of the creator in everything.

Looking, and living a life of Blissfulness… the ultimate and ever-lasting pleasantness in all areas of our lives where we’re no longer disturbed by any changes, or chaos, that may show up… is a mindset we all can enjoy now.
